If you’re just starting out as a beginner in golf, do you need to go out and buy clubs? Well, you do need to have something to practice with!
But do you need to go out and buy top of the line products? Probably not. At this point you still aren’t familiar with the swing and what you’re working on. You don’t know your tendencies. And you most likely don’t know your club averages. It’s better to spend more on lessons than on the clubs.
So what do you do? You can do a couple things. You can find a used set that fits your level. The other thing you can do is get a complete set of beginner clubs. They are usually way more cost efficient.
