We wish more women picked up the game of golf. You may want to start playing because your significant other does. Or maybe you want to be included in those golf course business deals. Maybe you just want to learn because you think it could be fun! Whatever the reason may be, there are a couple things to consider: who you take lessons from and price.

When looking for an instructor, consider if it’s important to have a male or female instructor. But further than that, you’re going to want to have them answer a few questions to see what lessons could look like. Questions like: “How do you determine what we work on each lesson?” “Do you have a plan?” “Do you prefer to compare and contrast my swing to others or work solely based on my swing?”

The other thing that is particularly important is the price. Do you feel comfortable taking lessons at $100+ a pop? This could limit how many lessons you feel comfortable taking. Golf is already an expensive sport.
